WebHoplite is running a sale sitewide that includes the 19513 (code LOYALTY on the main Hoplite webpage), which takes 20% off and brings it's price down to about the same level as the RMA 1092.That being said, does the Hoplite have any advantage over the 1092? Without a sale it costs more, weighs 5.25 vs 4.49 lb, and is only 0.1" thinner. WebLTC plates (or in this case, hoplite) are a little vague when it comes to rating especially when they say “308” and “lesser threats”. Nonetheless LTC does make reliable plates. The Hoplite/LTC 19513 is indeed notably cheaper than the 3810. Not sure what the extra + is for. Maybe improved backface deformation compared to the 3810?
